Dale Wayne Hill had been scheduled to appear in a Nevada court Monday regarding his transfer to face charges in the 1988 death of 14-year-old Stephanie Condon, whose remains were discovered off a logging road in March. The hearing has now been pushed to July.

Hundreds of people celebrated Stephanie Condon's life at the Douglas County Fairgrounds on Saturday. The 14-year-old girl disappeared in Myrtle Creek back in 1998. Her remains were found in a remote forest near Glide last month.

Dale Wayne Hill has long been a suspect in the case and is currently in a Nevada jail on an unrelated charge.  He was set to be released on Wednesday but now Douglas County officials have placed a hold on him.

Dale Wayne Hill, named as the sole suspect in the Stephanie Condon case by investigators but never charged, is set to be released from a Nevada jail on Wednesday.  Hill is serving time on an unrelated charge and is being let go early for good behavior.

The 14-year-old girl went missing more than 10 years ago and now, with her remains found, the family wants to find some closure and remember their daughter at a service. The memorial is set for Saturday, April 18 at 1 p.m.  It will be held at the Douglas County Fairgrounds.

Dale Wayne Hill has not been charged in the death of Stephanie Condon and denies involvement.  On Thursday, he was sentenced to 30 days in jail for failing to register as a felon in an unrelated burglary case.

The Nevada Appeal reports that law enforcement arrested Dale Wayne Hill, 39, Wednesday morning on suspicion of failing to register as a felon. Hill is a suspect in the disappearance of Stephanie Condon, according to the Douglas County sheriff.
